What the Multiplex Intensive?

The Multiplex Intensive is a 3 day workshop designed to guide you through the steps involved in pricing, assessing, and acquiring a property that is physically and financially viable for a Small-Scale Multi-Unit Housing development in Metro Vancouver.

It’s built on the same systems and frameworks used by the Laidler Capital team to deploy over $40 million annually into real projects across Metro Vancouver. You’ll learn directly from active practitioners, not career presenters, and walk away with strategies you can implement immediately to attract investors, package deals, and lead profitable projects.

Our sessions include live instruction, real case studies, group work, and direct access to experts in acquisitions, investor relations, legal structuring, marketing, and development finance.

How do I register for this Workshop?

To register for the Multiplex Intensive Workshop, submit an application or book a call to speak with a member of our Laidler Academy team. We require you to meet some minimum entry requirements to be allowed in the room. These requirements include but are not limited to being active in business, a revenue threshold and operating in municipalities where we are confident we can provide value. Where is the Multiplex Intensive program hosted?

The Multiplex Intensive Program is hosted in-person at the Laidler Academy office in Port Moody (Unit #1 - 2609 Murray Street)

What time does the Multiplex Intensive start and end each day?

Doors open each morning at 8:30am. The workshop begins at 9:00am and ends at 2:30pm. Sessions can run past the scheduled time for questions, case studies, or networking opportunities. Participants are not required to stay after 2:30pm.

Who else will be attending?

We intentionally invite a mix of real estate agents, builders, designers and/or architects to participate in this program. In our experience, curating a mix of professions helps to ensure all participants gain valuable new connections from this program.

To preserve the depth, intimacy, and impact of this program, enrollment is limited to 60 new members annual segmented into:

- 20 Realtors - looking to expand services and evolve into strategic investment leaders.

- 20 Builder/Developers - seeking positioning, capital partners, and market visibility.

- 20 Industry professionals - (lenders, consultants, operators, vendors) looking to elevate their

authority and attract ideal clients.

Only 5 new members are accepted per month across these three segments.
